This policy describes how the Digital Dollar Project website handles information. It covers only what this site actually does.
The Digital Dollar Project, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, is the controller of personal information collected through this site. Privacy questions go through the contact form. This policy does not list a street address, telephone number, or data protection officer, because the site does not publish those.
Pages you visit
The site is hosted on Cloudflare. Serving a page creates an ordinary technical record of the request, including the page address, the time, and basic connection data such as IP address and browser type. That information is used to deliver the site and keep it operating. The site does not run a separate analytics product of its own.
Cookies (CookieYes)
A CookieYes consent banner (Cookie Law Info) asks you to accept, reject, or customize cookies. The banner is set up with these categories: Necessary, Functional, Analytics, Performance, and Advertisement. Necessary cookies are described as required for basic site features, including storing your consent choice. The other categories are off unless you allow them. You can reopen the choice with the consent button on the page. The banner’s own cookie list does not name individual cookies.
Contact form
The contact form asks for first name, last name, email, company name, type of inquiry (General Inquiry, Participant Community Inquiry, or Press Inquiry), and a message. If you submit it, those fields are stored on this site.
Donations
The donate page embeds The Giving Block widget. Donations are processed by The Giving Block, not by this site. This site does not receive or store your card number or other payment details from that widget. The Giving Block’s own terms and privacy policy apply to the donation.
Links that leave this site
Some links go to other sites, including social profiles in the footer (X, LinkedIn, and YouTube) and news or research links in the body. Those sites are not controlled by the Digital Dollar Project. What they collect is covered by their own policies.
Changes
If this site’s practices change, this page will be updated. The current version is dated October 3, 2026.
